The Renaissance Program offers students an opportunity to show their parents

The Renaissance Program offers students an opportunity to show their parents, teachers, classmates, community and, most importantly, themselves what they are capable of achieving! This program recognizes students who are achieving academic excellence and improvement with positive, tangible incentives. Renaissance encourages all students, teachers, support staff, parents, businesses and the community to work together to hold the pursuit of academic excellence as a priority. Students are encouraged to work hard so they can participate in the program, feel pride and satisfaction in their accomplishments and realize goals. It is a concept and an attitude! The program supports the CVUSD motto of “High Expectations=High Achievement.” Students earn Gold, Silver, or Bronze cards by performing at various levels of expectation for each trimester.

GOLD CARD	:	All A’s or E’s
SILVER CARD	:	All A’s and B’s & all E’s and S’s
BRONZE CARD	:	All A’s, B’s and C’s & E’s and S’s

A mark of an “N” or “U” in citizenship or work habits disqualifies a student from earning a Renaissance Card for that trimester.
